Pictures from Europe Teaser!

So I just downloaded my pictures because it sounded like more fun than laundry ;) and I had a couple requests, it's going to take me some time to get them organized (almost 1400 of them!) and I plan on doing a series of more detailed blogs about the many places we visited but I thought I would share just a couple pics to get you excited about seeing more.

WOW!!!! I want to go there now! Where were the last two pics taken??? I love the architecture and colors. They remind me a bit of Santorini

I can't wait for more pic/stories. Make sure you tell us on facebook when you've posted more so I remember to get over here and check it out.

I ran into Mary Kay Brereton...do you remember her from "the fields"? She went to italy for a couple weeks and just got back. She too said that the David was amazing.

I'm officially jealous....but so happy for you. What an amazing trip!!!

Denise, the last two pics were at Park Guell in Barcelona... I have some more great pics from there too. The park was designed by Antoni Gaudi. There is some really interesting architecture all over Barcelona done by him... very modern and unique but from 150 years ago. More on that later.

I love Gaudi and his work throughout Barcelona. Words cannot describe my jealousy of all the marvelous places you have been and the beauties that you have seen, but I'm happy you guys got to go to Europe. Someday I'll go...

P.S. The happy shiny faces are from climbing 463 steps to the top of the Duomo, and riding in a 90 degree train with no air circulation... in case anyone was wondering why I would post such unflattering pics ;)
